My projector displays a black desktop when I project from a LAN source with Epson iProjection running macOS 10.15.x, 11.x, 12.x, 13.x, or 14.x. What should I do?
-
To mirror the desktop's display, follow the steps below.
- In the menu or Dock, select System Preferences or System Settings > Security & Privacy, and then the Privacy tab.
- Select Screen Recording, then click the lock icon to make changes.
Note: You may be prompted to enter your user password.
- Select the checkbox for Epson iProjection, then click the lock icon again to save the change. If you do not see Epson iProjection listed, you need to add it manually by clicking the + button.
Note: Make sure to grant access rights for screen recording when prompted during software installation or when you launch Epson iProjection for the first time. If you do not see Epson iProjection listed in the Screen Recording menu and cannot add it manually by clicking the + button, you did not grant access rights for screen recording. You will need to uninstall and reinstall Epson iProjection and grant access when prompted.
