I have been spending 5 hours a week since 10/28/20 because the scanner disconnect itself from the computer and requires multiple restarts, with my fingers crossed, for it to connect and become usable. I have now contacted support 2 times and have done everything they say to do but it still drops the connection. Support just sends out an email with stock answers. They say I can reopen a ticket, but I can not find where to do that on the website. Very poor communication.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It does what I needed it for-scanning paper photos. I've had it for several years. It will scan a small stack (10) of photos w/o issues. If you try to feed it too many you may get double feeds. The quality is good but my flatbed HPEnvy5540 does a better job if the photo is very dark. The support that holds the paper has broken at the pivot spot. I fixed it with duck tape. It may be a replaceable part I have not looked. Overall it does save me time with multiple scans and it is quite a small size, for storing and travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fast!!! and easy to set up I bought this a couple of weeks ago and just set it up. I couldn't believe how much faster it was than our old Dell multifunction printer that cost over $1,000.00. Very pleased with this as it is so small and can go anywhere my notebook goes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It was perfect until the latest update, now it won't connect I loved the scanner and bragged about how amazing it was until the last update. Now it will not connect and is not recognized when I plug it into my computer. I hate to spend another $200 plus dollars if it won't work after less than a year and it was fine until the mandatory update from Epson. There is no reset button, I reinstalled it on my computer and it is still not recognized.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from useless piece of junk It takes more time to set it up and work than the scanning itself. Works when it does not need to and does not work when I want it to work. I wasted several hours trying to make it to work. Reading the support articles are useless-->install then uninstall install then uninstall like there it nothing else todo in life than trouble shooting ES200. Can you any come up with scanner that works ALL the time? What kind of technical people work at Epson as they can not fix a simple problem?
