Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use! I've probably scanned 300-500 photos now. It hasn't auto rotated once, otherwise I would give it a 5 star rating. All other features work as described.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy & Sharp The scanner is surprisingly small and easy to use. Best thing: Epson has real people available to help, and they are great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved a GIANT problem for us We had hundreds of photos that we wanted to digitize Using our All-In-One would have taken forever. The 680W will get I done in hours. What a great tool!!! Worth every penny of its cost....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time Saver! I work in an office at a funeral home. We purchased this scanner because many times families will bring in many family photos to be used in a memorial DVD for their loved one. With our flat bed scanner, scanning 30+ photos is time consuming and many times can cause us to fall behind on our tasks. But since we've gotten the Epson scanner, we can scan multiple photos at once which is extremely helpful for our time sensitive tasks. My colleague and I were also pleasantly surprised at the quality at some of the touching up/ enhancements that it can give to older and faded photos. All in all, we are very happy with our scanner and thankful for the amount of time it has saved us in the short time we've had it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult to connect to network I just received this and still trying to set up wireless connection. I would think that it should be as simple as identifying the network and entering the password. But I had to access my router which is connected to a mesh network . with this setup, the connection was impossible. after trying for several hours, I finally gave up, moved the scanner to my computer and connected it to the computer. this is not how I wanted to be using the WIRELESS scanner. It seems there should be an easier way to connect. I cannot address the quality of the scanner as I have not yet scanned any photos. except to say tat it appears that it can't scan an 8" x 10" photo. again, not sure n the fuctionality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Sure Yet - Only had it a week I did not give it 5 stars due to the following: 1.) I also own a Epson Perfection V750 Pro flat bed Scanner. 2.) Installation of the FF-680W and it's software rendered the V750 Scanner un-useable. Epson Scan no longer recognizes the V750 scanner. There are times that I will want to use both scanners. I have uninstalled both scanners; however, when the FF680W driver and software is installed the V750 is no longer listed as an available scanner. I also purchase the Epson Scan Receipts program, it was not included with the FF-680W. When I scan receipts, I want to save it in PDF format. It seems that the default is JPG and there is a not a option to change the default to PDF. This means that there is just another step to complete your work. The OCR makes a good start but needs more work. Mechanically, the scanner seems to work fine. I would tell a friend that the scanner seems well made, but research other brands just to be sure. I bought this scanner because I have been happy with the V750 flat bed scanner

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very difficult to follow installation instruction The installation instructions were difficult to follow, especially the sequence of steps (i.e. don't plug in until you do this; don't connect the scanner to the computer until you do that.) This is really counter-intuitive. Normally the first thing you do is plug the equipment in. Also your Product Registration form is so small, I mean tiny, I couldn't read it without getting out a magnifying glass. I couldn't figure out how to make the form larger. Even with my bifocal glasses I couldn't make out what to put in the registration boxes. There has to be a better way. Your written instructions that came with the device are confusing. It should be easy for you merely to say, in big bold print: "Before you do anything go on the internet at …….. and download the installation instructions" So, my rating is your program instructions are ready for prime time and you get a fail.
