Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very difficult to follow installation instruction The installation instructions were difficult to follow, especially the sequence of steps (i.e. don't plug in until you do this; don't connect the scanner to the computer until you do that.) This is really counter-intuitive. Normally the first thing you do is plug the equipment in. Also your Product Registration form is so small, I mean tiny, I couldn't read it without getting out a magnifying glass. I couldn't figure out how to make the form larger. Even with my bifocal glasses I couldn't make out what to put in the registration boxes. There has to be a better way. Your written instructions that came with the device are confusing. It should be easy for you merely to say, in big bold print: "Before you do anything go on the internet at …….. and download the installation instructions" So, my rating is your program instructions are ready for prime time and you get a fail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from After Windows 10 Update - Epson FF-680W Cannot Connect The scanner was working very well but then when Windows 10 Updated, the Epson SmartScan stop working and cannot connect with computer. It was NOT a cable problem. I tried three different cables. But it could not recognized my computer or connect. Even when trying to download the Epson software again and trying to setup with USB connection, it would not recognize my computer. I had difficulty trying to do it even over WIFI. FINALLY, had to use a cable connection with my WIFI router. I am watching to see if this EPSON FF-680W is becoming glitchy with connecting problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FastFoto 680 Recently purchased the Epsom FastFoto 680 to back up my home photos. Woe right out the box both the software and the scanner worked great. Now I did need sometime to become familiar with the software...but once I did that scanning my photos was a breeze. To be honest I was a bit leary about the price but once I used the scanner I was please about my purchase. Not disappointed!!
