I see the message Filter Failure with rastertoescpII when I try to print from my Mac. What should I do?

    Try the following:

    1. On your Mac, open the  menu, select System Preferences, then Sharing.
    2. Do one of the following:
      • If there is no name in the field Computer Name, enter a name for your computer.
      • If there is a name in the field Computer Name, rename your computer.
    3. Close the window.
    4. Open the  menu, select System Preferences > Print & Scan, Print & Fax, or Printers & Scanners > your printer > Options & Supplies.
    5. Select General, if necessary. Enter your Computer Name as the Location, then click OK.

Try printing again. If you can print now, you're done. If you can't print, go to the next step.

    6. Turn off your product.
    7. Open the  menu, select System Preferences > Print & Scan, Print & Fax, or Printers & Scanners > your printer, then click . Click Delete Printer, then close the window.
    8. Open your hard drive and do one of the following:
      • Select Library > Printers, then drag the Epson folder to the trash.
      • Select Library > Printers > PPD > Contents > Resources, then drag the Epson Printer Name.gz file to the trash.
      • Select Library > Cache, then drag the Epson folder to the trash.
    9. Close the hard drive, and empty the trash on your Mac.
    10. Restart your Mac, turn your printer back on, then reinstall the driver for your product.
    11. Try to print again. If the problem is not resolved, contact Epson Support.
