Home Depot always has great deal on them so I buy them because of the deal. Now, I understand why the deals are great. First Epson multiprinters have great features. I love that I can use my phone epson printer app to scan documents, send documents, etc using just my phone and the printer. Second I love how user friendly the printers are that even someone like me can use them. Third I love the printing quality and options. Unfortunately, the ink runs or drys out very quickly. To be honest I think the ink cartridges are purposely designed to have very little ink in the cartridges so they have to be constanly replaced. In addition the small parts on the printer that are used to pull or roll paper through break down so easily that after just a few months of using the printer the printer starts catching more than one page at a time, jams or doesnt pull any paper through. With the first two printers I thought I just didnt know enough about printers and I was doing something wrong, but now I know these printers are meant to deplete my pocket book. This 3rd printer I have still has all working parrs, but the need to buy colored ink every single month when I mostly use black and print maybe 50 sheets a month is ridiculus. It cost almost $80 to get all 5 inks replaced. Usually its yellow and red and blue that need to be replaced. i dont understand why, when I print in black, but unless I replace them I keep getting an error message when trying to print only in black. I will no longer go to Home Depot for printers and I will no longer buy Epson printers. In order to scan I have to shut down the all-in-one and restart, and then cross my fingers. I could never print professional quality documents out of this printer, it prints text that is often wavy or jagged and leaves print noise all over the page. It also will not let me shrink the print so that a document that would barely be 3 pages can be printed on only 2 pages.
