Once it decides it's out of a color of ink, it won't let you print another page until you replace the cartridge (I'm willing to accept decreased quality for standard printing over late-night runs to the store). The quality of the printing is excellent and very clean.  I haven't printed any photos on photo paper, only on PTD fabric and it did very well. Changing cartridges the first time can be a challenge but once you’ve done it you can do it more quickly from then on.\r\n\r\nI’ve scanned photos and documents and have found it fairly intuitive when multiple items are on the flatbed. It was easy to install on my wireless.  I found installing the ink cartridges the most problematic. Never had issues with other epsons, but I finally figured out how to slant the cartridges into the holder.  It was quite frustrating at first.
