She was unhelpful in resolving this issue and seemed not to care about this issue at all.\n\nThis is not a warranty problem apparently, however, I would argue differently.  I feel that Epson should've provided 1-2 additional Maintenance Boxes since they fill up super fast. I'm honestly shocked by the durability. It's mostly plastic and being an inkjet, I was expecting 50k pages out of this max even with the price tag. However, I just today passed 100,000 pages printed and it has pretty much no issues to speak of. All my previous budget laser printers developed significant print quality issues by this point! The only letdown for me is that the absorbent pads for borderless printing are a non-user-serviceable part, and 'wear out' after a certain point, requiring the printer to be shipped off if you want to continue using that function after some time.\r\n\r\nFull disclosure: my first ET-16650 broke after about two months, with some unresolveable error. Epson support were surprisingly good (it was necessary to call, not just e-mail), and shipped me a printer in exchange immediately. I nearly forgot to mention that since the experience was good.\r\n\r\nThe ink bottle system is absolutely nothing to worry about. Spills are uncommon and the ink is easily dissolved in isopropyl alcohol for cleanup. I honestly got way messier cleaning toner drums than this!\r\n\r\nThe cost per page is outstanding. Epson's marketing lives up to what it promises, even if you are coming from what you consider to be an already economical printer. Plus, with the rebate I send the used bottles back to Epson. 100,000 pages in ink bottles takes up a small box, not a pallet of spent toner cartridges!\r\n\r\nThe print quality is also remarkably good for an inkjet. I used the now-discontinued ET-15550 for a few years and the 'high' quality on that is the 'standard' on this at something like 4x the print speed.\r\n\r\nThe tabloid scanner is great; I've even used the standalone copying/scanning functionality in some cases, even though I prefer to use separate software on the computer (VueScan) for maximum control. I've archived public domain sheet music on it, as it can fit the old 9\" x 12\" size, with very good results.\r\n\r\nMost important tips: before a print run, do the Print Quality Adjustment process (in Maintenance). Take your time and do it right, and your docs will come out looking great. The values do shift over time. Also, if printing double-sided, use thicker paper, like 24 or 28 lb., and reduce the print density by 20-30%. The only part I was hesitant on was whether or not the printer had the capability to print labels. I ended up finding one in stock and ordered it for pickup. I installed it the same day. The CD setup and paperwork instructions were very easy to follow. Set up was very easy. I loaded tray 1 with avery address labels and printed it as if it was regular paper. The address labels printed out perfectly. We also print file folder labels on an avery sheet that is 4x6. I was able to print on these as well using the top rear feeder and switching the paper size to A6. It printed perfectly. I also set up the scanner to scan to our computer and OneBox. I set up the fax and was able to connect the printer via wifi to my iphone. I also set up the printer to pint our payroll checks. This printer/scanner/fax/copier is absolutely amazing. What we will be saving on toner is outstanding. It took them about 30 minutes, including unboxing and unwrapping.  My wife said the instructions were very easy to follow and had no issues getting it up and going.  It then took me about 5 minutes to download the software from the Epson website and go through the setup.  All-in-all we were done and printing in under 60 minutes.\r\n\r\nInk:  This is the 3rd Supertank printer I have owned.  I can't imagine going back to having to buy ink every couple months.  This is a no-brainer for all my future printer requirements.\r\n\r\nPaper Tray:  I love being able to have two separate trays for paper.  It allows me to keep my legal paper loaded for immediate access (I work in real estate, so this might not be a necessity for everyone)\r\n\r\nTop-Feed ADF:  This is pretty standard.  The only thing I noticed is that they have a little extender if you are feeding in longer than normal paper.  I can't remember if my old printers had this since I have never used it.\r\n\r\nPaper output tray:  This was actually an awesome suprise.  I have a habit of pushing the paper tray back into the printer when I am not using it.  Only to find when I print from another room, I forgot that the tray is pushed in and I can hear my papers falling all over the floor.  This printer has a great feature that if the tray is pushed it, it will automatically push it back out to catch the printouts.  Great Job Epson!\r\n\r\nPrint Speed:  I did not notice any difference in print speed compared to any of my other top printers.  \r\n\r\nScan-to-Cloud:  I use this feature ALL THE TIME.  After a quick setup, I have my scans go directly to either my email (or my assistant) or directly to our Dropbox or OneDrive accounts.  This is another feature that I could not go without.\r\n\r\nInput Panel:  Normally I would not care about the input panel, however, this printer has THE BEST input panel I have ever used.  The screen is hard (like an iphone or something) and has great response.  The numeric keys to the side are nice and crisp, reducing extra key pushes.  I didn't think this would make such a big difference, but I find myself not dreading it every time that I need to go to the printer to enter in information.\r\n\r\nRegardless of the sentence below, this is my unbiased opinion.
