I have found no way to change the projector to monitor 2, thus keeping all my desktop icons on my laptop monitor. The software changes the arrangement of my desktop icons, pulling half of them to the projector's screen each time I hook up to the projector. Other digital projectors I've used in the past have not presented these problems.
