Using the Epson iPrint^™ App

Printing Photos

You can print JPG, GIF, TIFF, BMP, and PNG files from the Epson iPrint app.

1. Tap Print Photos on the app's home screen.
   
   
    
2. Tap a photo album.
   
   
    
3. Do one of the following:
   
   
   • If you want to view an enlarged version of a photo before printing it, tap any photo.
     
     
     
     Tap Select to add the photo to your print job.
     
     
     
     If you want to select more photos, tap the back arrow and repeat this process. When you're done, tap Next.
      
   • To select photos without enlarging them or to quickly select multiple photos, tap Select.
     
     
     
     Tap photos to add them to your print job.
     
     
     
     When you're done, tap Next.
      
4. Do the following, as necessary:
   
   
   
   
   • To change the paper size, print quality, and other settings, tap .
     
     Note: These settings apply to all photos in your print job.
      
   • If your photo is larger than the current paper size, you can adjust the cropping by tapping and dragging the photo.
      
   • To switch between landscape and portrait orientation, tap Rotate.
      
   • To add or remove photos from your job, tap .
      
   • To navigate between the photos in your print job, tap the thumbnails at the bottom of the screen.
      
   • To remove the current photo from the print job, tap Clear.

When you're ready to print, tap Print.

Printing Documents

You can print Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint files as well as PDF files with the Epson iPrint app.

1. Tap Print Documents on the app's home screen.
   
   
    
2. Locate your document and tap it.
   
   
    
3. Do the following, as necessary:
   
   
   
   
   • To change the paper size, print quality, and other settings, tap .
      
   • To navigate between your document's pages, tap and .
      
   When you're ready to print, tap Print.

Printing from the Cloud

You can print files directly from your Box, Dropbox, EverNote, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneDriver accounts with the Epson iPrint app.

1. Tap Print from Cloud on the app's home screen.
   
   
    
2. Tap the cloud service that you want to use.
   
   
    
3. Do one of the following:
   
   
   • If you have the cloud service app on your device, tap Allow to give Epson iPrint access to your files.
     
     
      
   • If you don't have the cloud service app on your device, sign in to your cloud service account to give Epson iPrint access to your files.
     
     
     
     Note: To sign out of your cloud service account, tap Sign Out in the corner of the Epson iPrint app screen.
      
4. Navigate to the file that you want to print and tap it.
   
   
    
5. Do the following, as necessary:
   
   
   
   
   • To change the paper size, print quality, and other settings, tap .
      
   • If a photo is larger than the current paper size, you can adjust the cropping by tapping on and dragging the photo.
      
   • To switch between landscape and portrait orientation, tap Rotate.
      
   • To navigate between a document's pages, tap  and or swipe left and right on the document.
      
   When you're ready to print, tap Print.

Scanning

You can scan photos and documents and then save, share or print the files with the Epson iPrint app.

1. Tap Scan on the app's home screen.
   
   
    
2. Place your document or photo on the scanner glass, or place your document in your printer's ADF.
    
3. Tap and adjust the scan settings as necessary.
   
   Note: Make sure the Source setting is correct or your document or photo will not scan.
    
4. Tap Scan.
   
   
   
   Your photo or document scans and appears.
   
   
    
5. If necessary, tap and drag the crop marks on the corner of the image.
    
6. Do one of the following:
   
   
   • Tap to save your scan to your device's storage, a cloud storage service, or to open the scan in another app. Select your destination, enter a name for the scan, select the file type, and tap Save or Upload.
     
     
      
   • Tap to email your scan. Enter a name, select a file type, and tap Mail.
     
     
      
   • Tap to print your scan. Tap to select any print settings. When you're done, tap Print.
     
     

Using Document Capture

You can capture a document with your device camera and then format, enhance, save, or print the document with the Epson iPrint app.

1. Tap Document Capture on the app’s home screen.
   
   
    
2. Aim your device camera at the document. Make sure the document is within the on-screen guides.
   
   Note: Tap and adjust the capture settings as necessary.
   
   
    
3. Tap Capture.
   
   
   
   The document image appears.
   
   
    
4. Do one of the following:
   
   
   • Tap Adjust to crop the capture, enhance the image quality, and then save or print the capture.
     
     
     1. Tap and drag the red dots to the corner of your image, or tap Document Size to adjust the paper size. When you’re done, tap Proceed.
        
        
         
     2. Select any of the text enhancement options as necessary, or select Adjust Color to modify the capture’s color settings. Tap Save to save the capture your device or tap Preview to view and print the capture.
        
        
         
     3. Tap Rotate to switch between portrait and landscape orientation, tap Document Size to adjust the paper size, or tap to adjust the print options. When you’re done, tap Print.
   • Tap Preview to view and print the capture.
      
   • Tap Rotate to switch between portrait and landscape orientation, tap Document Size to adjust the paper size, or tap to adjust the print options. When you’re done, tap Print.
     
     
      
   • Tap Save to save the capture to your device’s storage.
