Epson ScanSmart Accounting Edition


Epson ScanSmart Accounting Edition includes all standard ScanSmart features plus powerful receipt management functionality.

Upgrading Your Software to Accounting Edition (Windows®)

Before you start, make sure your computer is connected to the Internet, and your scanner is turned on and connected to your computer.

  1. Open the Epson ScanSmart software on your computer.

  2. Click Manage Receipts.

  3. Click Enter License Key.

  4. Make sure the scanner and serial number listed match your product.


    Note: If the scanner and serial number do not match your product, reconnect your scanner to the computer and select it from the Scanner Settings menu. See the online User’s Guide for instructions.


  5. Enter the Epson ScanSmart license key from the email you received and click Activate.

  6. Click Yes on the Windows prompt.

  7. When you see a message indicating that activation was successful, click OK.

  8. The Receipt Manager window opens. Your version of Epson ScanSmart software has now been upgraded.

Upgrading Your Software to Accounting Edition (Mac)

Before you start, make sure your computer is connected to the Internet, and your scanner is turned on and connected to your computer.

  1. Open the Epson ScanSmart software on your computer.

  2. Click Manage Receipts.

  3. Click Enter License Key.

  4. Make sure the scanner and serial number listed match your product.

  5. Enter the Epson ScanSmart license key from the email you received and click Activate.

  6. When you see a message indicating that activation was successful, click OK.

  7. The software returns to the menu screen. Your version of Epson ScanSmart software has now been upgraded.
