Why are my pictures blurry and out-of-focus?

  • Hold the camera steady and make sure the subject does not move. Ensure that the flash is not set to Flash off. The subject may not be within the camera's range. Without the flash, you should be at least 2 feet away from the subject. To take a picture with the flash, you should be 1.5 to 10 feet away from the subject. If you have the optional LCD monitor attached, you can take a picture from as close as 8 inches in Macro mode (please refer to Chapter 11 page 12 of the PhotoPC 500 User's Guide for more information on this feature).
