The image on the screen is too dark or too bright. What should I do?

• Check the following:
  • Make sure the flash is not set to “flash off'. However, if you are shooting a close-up in macro mode, you should try using the “flash off” setting. See Controlling the Flash.
  • If you are using the flash, make sure you are within the flash range.
  • If you are using manual mode, you can adjust the exposure compensation or light sensitivity settings.
