I see the message You do not have permission to open the application “EPSON Scanner” when I launch Image Capture. What should I do?

• Do the following:

  1. Close Image Capture.
  2. Open the Finder on your Mac.
  3. Select Library > Image Capture > Devices.
     
     
  4. Double-click EPSON ES XXXX, then double-click EPSON Scanner if the selection appears on screen. If you see multiple items with these names, double-click on each item.

     You will not see a new window or a change appear after you make these selections; just continue to the next step.

     Note: EPSON ES XXXX is the ID of the connected scanner.

  5. Open Image Capture again. The message should no longer appear.
