How does the automatic tear-off feature work?

• To enable the automatic tear-off feature, turn the printer OFF and move dip switch 3-8 to the ON position. Turn the printer back ON and send a document. The printer automatically feeds the paper to the printer's tear-off edge after receiving a form feed command or line feed commands totaling the currently set form length (usually 66 lines per page when selecting an 11" page length).
