Can my product still print if an ink cartridge is empty or not installed?

• No. The printer will not operate if any ink cartridge is empty or removed.
  
  Always leave the ink cartridges installed in the printer until you have obtained a replacement, otherwise the ink remaining in the print head nozzles may dry out.
