After installing a new ink cartridge, that color is missing when I perform a nozzle check. Is the cartridge bad or is there something wrong with my product?

Check for the following possible causes:
Make sure the recently installed ink cartridge is properly installed. It should click and lock into position when installed.
Check the paper thickness lever setting. It should be in the normal position. If it was in the envelope position, set it to standard and perform a cleaning cycle.
If after reseating the ink cartridge and performing an additional cleaning cycle the problem continues, replace the ink cartridge. If the problem continues with the new ink cartridge, contact Epson Technical Support. Your printer may need to be serviced.
