I am printing a PostScript file and the edges of the text in my printout are not straight or the printout does not match the color shown on my monitor. What should I do?

  • Your product is not a PostScript printer so you may see unexpected results when printing a PostScript file. To print PostScript files in high quality, Epson recommends using a RIP software which will create a raster image from the PostScript code and then send it to your product to print.

If a RIP software is unavailable, you may be able to obtain high quality prints by saving and printing your document/images as a PDF file instead of a PostScript file.
