My product intermittently looses data with a serial connection set to a 9600 baud rate or higher. What should I do?

• Use a DTR setting if you can. If you must use XON/XOFF, decrease the baud rate. (At 9600 the XOFF signal may not reach the printer in time to delay data transmission and this will result in a loss of data.)
