How do I connect my product with a Wi-Fi Direct connection?

  Enabling Wi-Fi Direct Mode

  You can enable Wi-Fi Direct mode to allow direct communication between your product and computer or other devices without a wireless router or access point.
  1. Press the  home button, if necessary.
  2. Select Wi-Fi Setup. You see a screen like this:
     
     
  3. Select Wi-Fi Direct.
  4. Press the OK button twice to proceed. You see a screen like this:
     
     
  5. Do one of the following:
     • For iOS devices, select iOS. Press the OK button to view and scan the QR code with the camera app on your device, then follow the instructions on your device. Press the OK button, then press the down arrow button to scroll down and display the product information. Open the Epson iPrint app on your device and select your product. Press the OK button to return to the home screen.

       Note: You can also select Other Methods to view the product's network name and password.

     • For Android devices, select Android. Open the Epson iPrint app on your device and select your product. Press the down arrow button to scroll down and display the product information. Press the OK button to return to the home screen.
     • For other types of devices, select Other OS Devices. Press the down arrow button to scroll down and display the product information. On your device, select the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) displayed on the LCD screen and enter the password shown. Press the OK button to return to the home screen.
     The Wi-Fi Direct icon is displayed on the LCD screen and indicates if Wi-Fi Direct is enabled on the product.
