I see the message You cannot send the email. Confirm the settings. in macOS 10.14. What should I do?

  • In order to use the Attach to Email feature, you need to allow the Epson ScanSmart software access to your email. To allow access, do the following:

    Note: Epson ScanSmart uses the Apple Mail client. To attach your email, your email account must be configured in the Apple Mail client.

    1. Open the menu, select System Preferences > Security and Privacy.
    2. Click the Privacy tab, then click to allow editing. If necessary, enter the password and click OK.
    3. Select Automation, and click the Mail checkbox for Epson ScanSmart.

    4. Click .
    5. Open Epson ScanSmart and try using the Attach to Email feature.
