My print looks wavy or stair steps. What should I do?

  • Print the demo page to ensure the printer is operating properly. If the print is normal, try moving the printer to another computer to eliminate the possibility of a defective printer cable, parallel port or software problem. If the problem persists, try recalibrating the printer with the Calibrat.exe utility program. Try printing again. If the problem persists, the printer may need to go in for service.
