I just replaced the ink cartridge and the Ink Out light stays on. How can I clear my product?
- Make sure the yellow tape is completely removed from the top of the ink cartridge and that the cartridge is correctly installed (follow the procedure for replacing the ink cartridges in the User's Guide). Turn the printer OFF and back ON. If the condition persists, follow the procedures for replacing the ink cartridge, but DO NOT remove it from the print head unit. Lift the olive-colored ink cartridge clamp, then close the clamp until it snaps into place, ensuring you have broken the ink cartridge seal. If the printer begins charging the ink delivery system, the printer should print fine. If reclamping the cartridge does not resolve the problem, replace the ink cartridge with a new, genuine EPSON ink cartridge. If you continue to have difficulties, the printer may need to be sent in for service. If the printer is within the dealer's exchange period, have the printer exchanged.
