My product is not producing any black ink. How can I resolve this problem?
- Ensure that the monochrome print head unit and the black ink cartridge is installed. Perform a cleaning cycle (Cleaning button). Try printing the self-test. If the problem persists, try the cleaning cycle again. You may need to run several cleaning cycles before your print quality improves. If the problem persists, replace the black ink cartridge with a new, genuine EPSON ink cartridge and try printing again. If you continue to have problems, have the printer sent in for service or if the printer is within the dealer's exchange period, have the printer exchanged.
