My product is running slowly. What should I do?

• If the printer hesitates after each pass of the print head, the system may not be able to process the file fast enough to keep the printer running at full speed. If you're using a PC with a parallel connection to the printer, try connecting with a USB cable instead. This increases the data transfer rate to 12MB per second. Also check your system resources and turn off any unnecessary programs that may be running in the background. If you're using a Mac, also turn off all other programs and try printing again with background printing off.
