In OS X 10.11, scanning pauses between images when I scan a batch of multiple photos or frames of film with Epson Scan. What should I do?

• Download and install EPSON Scan Common Updater v1.00. This software will correct the problem.

  Important: The EPSON Scan Utility must be installed before you install EPSON Scan Common Updater.

  To download and install the software, go to the main Epson main support page, select your product, then select Downloads. Select Utilities, then EPSON Scan Common Updater v1.00. Click Download, then follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
