A connection error appears after I installed a new or updated printer driver on my Mac. What should I do?

  • Try the following:

    1. Uninstall the Epson printer driver. To uninstall the printer driver, go to the Downloads tab for your product, select Uninstaller v1.3.1, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstall.
    2. Install Epson printer driver ver. 10.85. This driver version has limited print options, but it should resolve this issue.
    Note: An updated printer driver will be available later to resolve the problem.

    Tip: If your printer stops printing after entering sleep mode, you need to wake the printer up to print again.
