I recently upgraded my Mac computer to OS X 10.6 and now the projected screen image is noticeably darker. What should I do?

Apple changed the default Target Gamma setting on Snow Leopard from 1.8 to 2.2. Do the following to change the setting to 1.8:
- Open System Preferences and click Displays.
- Select the Color button and click Calibrate.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to calibrate the monitor.
- On the Target Gamma screen, change the setting to 1.8.
