Can I connect my product to external speakers?
-
No, but you should be able to output sound to external speakers by connecting them directly to the video equipment or computer you have connected to the projector.
You can attach headphones to the iPad, iPod, or iPhone (with exception of the iPod touch) when docked to the projector to get sound through the headphones.
The iPod touch headphone jack is on the same side as the dock connector therefore it is not possible to connect headphones when the iPod touch is docked. The workaround is to use the optional Apple Digital AV adapter (part number MC953ZM/A).
Connect the Apple Digital AV Adapter to your iPad, iPhone 4, or iPod touch (4th generation) via the 30-pin dock connector and to your HDMI compatible display using an HDMI cable (sold separately). A second 30-pin connector built into the AV adapter lets you charge and sync your device while its connected to your HDMI compatible display.
Note: Connecting headphones to the iPad, iPod, iPhone, or iPod touch stops audio from going to the projector. Therefore when headphones are in use, the projector RC is no longer in control of the volume. You must adjust the volume level on the iPad, iPod, iPhone, or iPod touch.
