Support Projectors EB Series Epson PowerLite EB-760W

How can I improve the image quality?

  • Check the following:

    • Make sure you select the best Color Mode for your picture and viewing environment, then use the settings in the Image menu to finish adjusting the picture.
    • If the projected image is fuzzy or blurry, adjust the image focus.
    • Make sure the projector is placed at the proper distance from the screen. Use the Projection Distance Calculator to determine how far to place the projector from the screen.

For best results, connect your video equipment to the HDMI 1, HDMI 2, or HDMI 3 port(s). If your equipment doesn't support HDMI, connect it to one of the following ports (highest quality listed first):

    • Computer1 or Computer2/Monitor Out with a VGA-to-component adapter cable (for component video)
    • Video (for composite video)

Note: You can set Deinterlacing only when receiving a 480i, 576i, or 1080i input signal.

    • If you are projecting from a computer, adjust the computer's resolution to match the projector's native resolution, if possible.

Note: Digital correction features such as keystone, Quick Corner, zooming, and scaling can reduce the image quality. To improve the image quality, set these features to their factory defaults, and refocus the image.

    • If your projector is mounted, make sure the Epson mount adjustment dials are used to level or square your image.
