Why do you use IR (infrared) microphones instead of RF (radio frequency) microphones?
- Infrared is ideal for classroom audio because its line-of-sight communication is short-range and cannot penetrate walls. Cell phone, radio, TV, PA, police and emergency service systems can all interfere with RF signals, but infrared is not affected by these sources of interference.
