I see the message An unknown USB device has been connected. Remove the USB device. What should I do?

• This message appears when the product is connected to some projectors. Disconnect the projector and make sure the Mic switch on the document camera is set to the Off position. Connect the projector to the document camera again.

  Note: Setting the Mic switch to Off disables input from the internal microphone.
