How do I use Image Capture to scan?

• Do the following:

  1. Open Image Capture.
  2. Select your product from the DEVICES or SHARED list, if necessary.
     

     Note: You may need to hover the cursor over the DEVICES or SHARED list, click Show , and then select your product.

     If you see the Show Details button, click it. If you are scanning an item on the scanner glass, your product begins a preview scan.

  3. Select the Scan Mode setting indicating where you placed your original (if available). Select any other scan settings as necessary.
     

     Note: Some settings shown above may not be available for your product.

  4. Select the folder where you want to save your scanned file in the Scan To pop-up menu.
  5. Click Scan.

     Your original is scanned, and the scanned file is saved in the folder you selected.
