At Epson Portland Inc., we take a comprehensive approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) through effective use of energy and resources, employee engagement, and corporate giving campaigns.

 

Environmental Management

Our Environmental Management System (EMS) has been third-party certified since 1998. We are ISO 14001:2015 certified.

Energy
Conservation

Since February of 2003, we have been a patron-level participant in Portland General Electric’s Clean WindSM power program, currently purchasing 62% of our power from wind-generation facilities.

Employee Engagement

Our employees are critical to the success of our environmental responsibility initiatives. Several reuse and recycling solutions were innovative suggestions from our team, and employee volunteers donate more than 100 hours each year through a variety of programs.

Waste
Management

We manufacture with zero waste to landfill since March of 2000. Any waste that cannot be reused or recycled is sent to a local waste-to-energy facility where it is incinerated to create electricity.

Corporate Giving

Epson Portland’s Giving program is designed to reinforce our commitment to good corporate citizenship by responding to the needs of our community. Priority consideration is given to organizations that are located and active in Washington County, Oregon, and Cowlitz County, Washington. Our primary areas of focus are education, community livability, and environmental preservation.

How to Apply

One for Our Community

We have been helping Oregon's schools and non-profit organizations add a touch of color to their work through this printer donation program since 1988. A One for Our Community printer donation consists of a new Epson WorkForce All-In-One printer and two sets of ink cartridges manufactured in Hillsboro.
