Rated 1 out of 5 by from Profiles out of whack Bought the printer about two weeks ago and it was frustrating to try and get a decent print with the supplied profiles. After wasting almost all the ink in the supplied ink cartridges, wasting paper and time. I'm an experienced printer user, printing for the last 10 years with Epson 3800 and Epson R1800. I would expect better from Epson Media type: Glossy Mode: Off (No color adjustment) Photoshop manages colors Photo paper Glossy. I need the printer to make my living, I'm a photographer. I'M UNABLE TO PRINT WITH P800. I would expect better from Epson !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sports Photographer This P800 printer replaces a Pro 3880. The P800 is a super printer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth the Bother I have to constantly re-establish my wi-fi connectivity to the printer overtime I try to print. The printer will not print when I have it connected by usb cable to the printer. I am so sorry I purchased this junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great The P800 is like the other Epson printers that I have purchased over the years, outstanding!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy setup I bought this one year ago but never set it up. Just did now and everything seems to be fine. Disappointed I did not send in my form for the $400 rebate!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! I bought this printer a little over a month ago to replace my old 3800. Everything is working beautifully so far. Hoping it stays that way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Monochromes I bought this as a refurbished printer from Epson. I have not had a decent printer for about 10 years as I am primarily a darkroom guy, but my wife developed Alzheimer's and as such locking myself away for hours at a session the darkroom was not longer an option. I studied digital printers for years on end and examining the the prints from these devices by other photographers I knew well. I finally settled on the Epson SC P800 for a number of reasons, but the mainly the monochrome image quality seemed superior to all others, even professional labs faired worse. Only problem I have had seemed to be with signal pollution when used wireless, this was eliminated by employing a usb cable. This printer, though perhaps now out date, is a great printer and easy to set up and use. Also old film shots can be resuscitated and printed easily on the SC P800.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for its segment I am super happy with this printer. It produces top quality images yet is affordable for the everyday man. I think it is trying to position itself as the upper echelon of the non professional segment even though its results could very easily be put on display in a gallery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Printer I bought this printer to replace an older Epson 4000. It is the perfect printer for someone like me> I do a moderate amount of printing, not high production, so the smaller cartridges are fine. The printer is simple and intuitive to use and the main thing is, it always works!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sensitive printer I used one of these from a friend in the summer and just had to get one, and now i own my own. I produce sensitive, subtle images that are of nature, women and abstract urban subjects. This is the printer to produce those with the full gamut of tones and colors. My sixth Epson printer and the best so far.

* Price is MSRP before any applicable rebates. Reseller prices may vary. All prices are in U.S. Dollars.

1 Ink lightfastness rating based on accelerated testing of prints on specialty media, displayed indoors, under glass. Actual print stability will vary according to media, printed image, display conditions, light intensity, humidity and atmospheric conditions. Epson does not guarantee longevity of prints. For maximum print life, display all prints under glass or lamination or properly store them. Visit www.wilhelm-research.com for the latest information.

2 2 Cartridge yields vary considerably based on images printed, print settings, paper type, frequency of use and temperature. For print quality, a variable amount of ink remains in the cartridge after the "replace cartridge" indicator comes on. The printer ships with 64 mL initial cartridges and part of the ink from the first cartridges is used for priming the printer.

3 Ink used in conversion varies considerably based on temperature and other factors.

4 Not all paper types or widths supported. Printer does not have an auto cutter; manual cut required. See the documentation at www.epson.com/support/p800 for details.

5 Print times are based upon print engine speeds only. Total throughput depends upon front-end driver/RIP, file size, printing resolution, ink coverage, network speed, etc. All times are in bidirectional print mode at 1440 x 720 dpi.

6 Wi-Fi CERTIFIED; level of performance subject to the range of router being used. Wi-Fi Direct may require printer software.
