Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new P 800 I'm just getting started with this printer &, so far, all is going according to plan for the set up. Now I can't wait to start printing my images. Many years ago I had my own production company in NYC for about 18 yrs. So I'm not a novice to image making. I retired from that years ago & finally decided to pick up the camera equipment & take pix again. This printer will enable me to produce high quality images from my home in the Adirondack Mtns of NY. I'm very excited to be scratching this itch again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredible images but hard to load fine art paper Incredible images but hard to load fine art paper, have lost many sheets of Canson 310gsm Rag Photographic paper using the front loading mecanism the paper hit the back support and gets stuck there and then jams this happens to abou 1 in 3 prints, haven't figured out a way to solve this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Great Printer! This is my 4th Epson ink jet printer. I was holding my breath on this purchase. This replaces my 3880 which I thought was going to be hard to beat. It does. Such a pleasure to use and such great results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I went digital in 1990 so you can only image how many printers I have bought until now. I own an Epson 7900 printer which is good for 24" wide printing but not so easy to use with smaller prints. After seeing this printer at the WPPI convention in Las Vegas, I decided to buy this model. It was the easiest printer I have ever set up in my life!! The first test print came out perfect and now I am ready to make this machine pay for its price. Could not be happier. Will have to wait several months to see how it holds up but am feeling confident in the quality I see in it now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been using epson printers for 20 years, this is the best yet I am a advertising photographer for the most part, but I do sell fine are prints of some of my photographs. The SureColor P800 provides me with prints surpassing those I can get from "professional labs", for much less money. The quality I get from this printer from either a DSLR or Medium Format Digital Camera is a good as I had ever been able to get during the days of film. I now have total control over my production process. My customer feedback indicates that I made the right choice in pulling my printing in-house with my professional P800 printer. After 17 prints, I have recouped the cost of the printer moved to a much higher profit margin. I am now very tempted to go even wider, to the 24-inch Epson SureColor P6000 and 44-inch SureColor P8000 as I have order fro larger prints due to the quality of these prints from the P800.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Set up very straight forward and efficient. Having purchased numerous printers over the years I was happy to find the set up and installation procedures very uncomplicated and very well described in the accompanying literature. Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Poor quailty design upon taking the printer out of the box, the front far left corner molding was off. this is because the clips used to secure it to the printer were broken, They are too small and not strong enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Time Epson user I have just purchased the SureColor P800 and so far I am impressed with the quality. Having been a long time Epson user I am confident I will be very productive with this machine.

1 Ink lightfastness rating based on accelerated testing of prints on specialty media, displayed indoors, under glass. Actual print stability will vary according to media, printed image, display conditions, light intensity, humidity and atmospheric conditions. Epson does not guarantee longevity of prints. For maximum print life, display all prints under glass or lamination or properly store them. Visit www.wilhelm-research.com for the latest information.

2 Catridge yields vary considerably based on images printed, pring seetings, paper type, frequency of use and temperature. For print quality, a variable amount of ink remains in the cartridge after the "replace cartridge" indicator comes on. The printer ships with full cartridges and part of the ink from the first cartridges is used for priming the printer.

3 Ink used in conversion varies considerably based on temparature and other factors.

4 Not all paper types or widths supported. Printer does not have an auto cutter; manual cut required. See the documentation at www.epson.com/support/p800 for details.

5 Print times are based upon print engine speeds only. Total throughput depends upon front-end driver/RIP, file size, printing resolution, ink coverage, netowrk speed, etc. All times are in bidirectional print mode at 1440 x 720 dpi.

6 Wi-Fi CERTIFIED; level of performance subject to the range of router being used. Wi-Fi Direct may require printer software.
