How should I transport or store my product?

• If you need to ship your product, transport it a long distance, or store it for an extended period, prepare it for transportation as described here.
  1. Remove any originals from the scanner.
  2. Turn off the scanner using the  power button.
  3. Unplug the AC power cord.
  4. Disconnect the USB cable.
  5. Place the scanner in its original packing materials if possible, or use equivalent materials with cushioning around the scanner.

     Caution:
     When carrying the scanner, hold it from the bottom on both sides. Avoid tilting the scanner, or the ADF may open and cause injury.
