When I use the Scan to PC feature, my computer name does not appear on my product's control panel. What should I do?

  • Try the following:

    Note: Make sure all software (such as firewall, virus protection and utilities) that can block communication between your all-in-one and computer is disabled.
    1. Restart your computer and turn your all-in-one off and on.
    2. Click Start, and select Programs or All Programs.
    3. Select Epson software > Event Manager.
    4. Click the Button Settings tab, then set all settings to use EPSON Scan.
    5. Click Close.
    6. Click Start, select Control Panel, then open Scanners and Cameras.
    7. Right-click your all-in-one's name, then click Properties.
    8. Click the Events tab.
    9. Select Scan Button for Select an event.
    10. Select Epson Event Manager for Start this program.
    11. Click Apply.
    12. Click OK.
    13. Try using the Scan to PC feature again.
