I can't select some of the print features for my printer. What should I do?

The Apple AirPrint driver may be configured as your default printer driver.
If you installed the Epson software for your printer, follow the instructions in the Set Up a New Print Queue section below.
If you have not installed the Epson software, follow the instructions in the Install the Epson Driver section below.
Install the Epson Driver
- Select the menu > System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer, then click to remove the printer queue.
- Go to the Epson Support page and search for your product.
- Select macOS 12 in the Operating System drop-down box, if necessary.
- Do one of the following:
- Download and install the Drivers and Utilities Combo Package for your product.
- If a Drivers and Utilities Combo Package is not available for your product, download and install the software in the Recommended For You section.
- Check if the print features are available for your printer.
- If the print features are available, you're done.
- If the print features are not available, follow the instructions in the Set Up a New Print Queue section below.
Set Up a New Print Queue
- Select the menu > System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners if necessary.
- Select your printer, then click to remove the printer queue.
- Click the + button.
- Select your printer from the Add Printer list, and then click Select Software from the Use drop-down menu.
- Select your printer in the Printer Software list, then click OK.
Note: The Epson driver for your printer appears at the top of the list. If your printer does not appear at the top of the list, use the Filter option to find your printer.
- The Add Printer window appears again. Make sure your Epson printer is selected and click Add.
Your printer now appears in the Printers list.
If you cannot use the Epson software after following the instructions above, contact Epson Support.
