How do I uninstall the Epson printer and Epson Scan software in Windows or OS X?

Follow the instructions below for your computer system:
Windows- Turn off the Artisan.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the Artisan.
- Click Start or , and select Programs or All Programs.
- Select Epson or Epson Printers, then select Epson Printer Software Uninstall. Note:
- In the next window, select EPSON Artisan 700 Series and click OK. Then follow the on-screen instructions.
- Open the Windows Control Panel, then click Uninstall a program under Programs (Windows Vista) or double-click Add or Remove Programs (other Windows versions).
- Click EPSON Scan in the list of currently installed programs and click Uninstall/Change (Windows Vista) or Change/Remove (Windows XP or 2000). Note:
- When the confirmation window appears, click Yes.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Epson Scan. In some cases, a message may appear to prompt you to restart the computer. If so, make sure Yes, I want to restart my computer now is selected and click Finish.
- Restart your computer.
With Windows Vista, click Continue, then go to the next step.
With Windows Vista, click Continue, click Next, and continue with step 9.- Insert the Artisan 700 Series software CD-ROM in your CD-ROM or DVD drive.
- Double-click the Epson CD-ROM icon on your desktop.
- Open the Common folder, then open the EPSON Scan folder.
- Double-click the EPSON Scan Installer icon.
- When the Installer window appears, select Uninstall from the pop-up menu at the top and click the Uninstall button.
- Open the English folder, then open the OSX folder in the CD-ROM window.
- Double click the Installer icon.
- When the Installer window appears, select Uninstall from the pop-up menu at the top and click the Uninstall button.
- Do one of the following: Mac OS X 10.5
- Restart your Macintosh.
Select System Preferences, Print & Fax, Artisan 700, and then click the — button.
Mac OS X 10.3 or 10.4
Open the Applications folder on your hard drive, select Utilities, Printer Setup Utility, Artisan 700, and then click Delete.
