What does the (250), (260), and (170) stand for in the Epson driver Media Type setting?
-
The settings followed by (250), (260), and (170) are for roll paper and represent the paper weight of the media. Be sure to select the Media Type setting that matches the paper you loaded in the printer. If there is a mismatch in paper weight, print quality may be affected by horizontal banding or other problems.
Choose a Media Type setting without the above designations when you print on cut sheets.
