Rated 3 out of 5 by from couple of things 1. this is developer. is cheaper but locked to developing apps. means side-loading apps is restricted, even your own apps are restricted to debug version only. that or publish the apps to moverio market for developers 2. android version is 4.03. you need to develop to that, not newer 3. the main issue for user is that the image is never completely in focus. either left eye or right eye, but not both. again, for developers this should not be an issue 4. the only thing working well is internet browser final thoughts: i bought it to develop apps. couldnt get the usb debugger to work but i did side-load the first app and hope to learn programming fast enough to see my apps working in debug mode (this mode allows debug- incremental run but as i said, so far i couldnt connect the debugger so ill have to settle for full run)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from DOES NOT PLAY WELL WITH OTHERS OR PHANTOM 3 They say it is meant for others to explore and develop further but it is completely locked down so you can't load or install any apps that are not on their very limited store. Yes I have been trying every way of side loading the APK files. So I used the screen mirroring from my Samsung Tab S 8.4 and it worked but with a lag. There is no hard wire video input option. Yesterday I flew my Phantom 3 pro and used the screen mirroring. It worked, technically, but not really. Running the DJI GO app and also screen mirroring overloaded the system and the refresh rate on the glasses was about 1 fps with a stuttering 2 to 3 second lag. So I want to load the DJI GO app on the glasses but NO WAY. Epson has created the PERFECT HUD for drones but omitting HDMI or RGB input and then also blocking virtually all apps that would be perfect for this device is just plain stupid. I know they have a vision for some sort of industrial repair SDK or gamer SDK but the's glasses will be outdated technology by the time those happen. So why not allow people who can use them today access to install apps? The Epson YouTube video showing how to install APK files does not work for the DJI GO app which would be the main use for this equipment before it is outdated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use with Phantom Vision+ I purchased this for use in my P2V+ "Phantom II Vision Plus" Drone/UAV. It allows you to experience flight through it's FPV function. Unlike other FPV Goggles on the market such as "Fat-Shark", this unit allows you to see as a Fighter Pilot would use in a HUD "Heads Up Display". Great compliment to the P2V+ systems platform!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive for FPV Flying! Being able to fly FPV with line of sight while viewing a huge screen right in front of you is amazing! The DJI Phantom app preview window isn’t full size “yet” but the apparent size of the video feed is as big as a house when viewing the Phantom in an open area, looks similar to a drive-in movie screen that’s transparent. The video position can be centered by changing the settings of the “toolbar auto hide.” The brightness can be controlled by the device. The device comes with two different dark nesses of clip on sun screens. I wore the darkest shades for the glasses and the image was very easy to see even looking in the direction of the sun. No black tape over the lenses required. Glasses fit comfortably over my prescription glasses. Camera tilts up and down with head movement. To be fair there are a couple negatives I have found so far: 1. The orientation of the Phantom on the radar function is wrong so it’s not reliable and “ground station” doesn’t work. 2. I was able to fly at the max preview resolution in the DJI app, 640x480@30fps, but had a little stuttering @ 850ft distance x 100ft elevation. It’s great using this device for a reference video feed to stay oriented and to frame in camera shots. Don’t expect flawless high res video feed though. 3. Touchpad is sensitive but there are options to help control the curser. I still have difficulty with it. Is it worth the investment? For me yes. I got what I wanted, the ability to have FPV and line of sight simultaneously. Most of the issues above seem to be in the realm of DJI and their app, not a limitation or problem with the glasses. These are NOT dedicated FPV goggles but the viewing experience is very immersive anyway. The fact that I can also watch high res 3d movies with an apparent 65 inch screen doesn’t hurt either. Right now there aren’t that many apps but I feel it’s worth the asking price, as is, just for FPV flying. This device will only get better and better as more apps come out. The price for this technology is high but that’s all relative to the individual.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from BT-200 overall good product even though expensive. much better quality and sturdy cables than other wearable video glasses available. Pro: lighter than BT-100 Good video quality FPV capable Good Battery Life Chargeable from any USB connection (power cable not required) Con: Typing is a pain currently no google store support (ie app downloads) Any app that rotates the screen when ran is a problem Despite the cons I like the BT-200 and recommend it to intermediate-to-experienced users.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from FPV UAV flight I purchased the unit for FPV (First Person Viewing) with a Phantom Vision Plus UAV. Needless to say, this made all the difference in the world. With the sun glass attachment, there was no problem with outdoor use. The picture is clean and clear with the DJI app. At first, it was very frustrating to use the touch pad on the controller but it finally dawned on me the touch pad requires you to have it oriented with the Epson logo facing up (vertical to the ground). Much better after that. It does not like being horizontal. It would be nice if the connection to the glasses used the Bluetooth interface, but the wired connection is not an issue in my application. It would also be nice to see some adjustments based on the spacing of your eyes and how you wear the glasses to eliminate any of the double vision. Haven’t really scratched the surface of what the unit can do but it is a lot of fun so far! I should also add the first pair arrived bad out of box but Epson support and customer service resolved the problem within a few minutes and a new pair was expedited. Excellent service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hold off on this purchase This product certainly has potential but as of now there are alot of problems that arise while trying to use this product. I would wait to buy this product until they fix some of these issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The unit performs very well in general, there are some improvement needed like downloading apps,etc.. The tech supports and customer services are top notch as always, that's the reason why I buy Epson brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exciting Equipment for doing AR, or HUDs or Media The new headset surprised me. The display is larger than I thought, crisp and bright (adjustable), and the headset is lightweight and wearable; it's a huge step forward. The use of Android also was a good move. Exciting stuff.
