Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Printer Replaced an older Epson printer with this one.like how this one prints, it's quieter, and easy to set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Printer Ever! I have used an Epson Stylus printer for years, and currently using the C88+. It is perfect for my needs: reasonably fast, great colors, easy to operate. It will handle 60 lb paper that I can turn and print on the back. The feeder is precise enough that pages are evenly matched. I use one of these printers until it exceeds its life, and then I throw it away and purchase another one. Great little printer!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, clean, and crisp This is a really nice little printer. The price is kind of high for all that it does considering all in ones are less than this, but it does a great job. The only problem I am continuously having is the paper jamming when it goes under the exit bar on the way out. at least 1 in every 10 sheets gets jammed on the way out. If the paper is not perfectly flat and there is the slightest curl in the corners then the paper will jam on the way out. Other than that the quality and color is excellent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My second Epsom Stylus C88+ I bought a Brother, but returned it after discovering I could not print labels. I bought my first Sylus C88+ about 20 years ago and traveled with it from Seattle to the jungle in Mexico, to Florida.. It just quit printing after many years of dependable use. I love how easy it is to print and load all types and sizes of paper. Loading paper is easy and convenient-- no drawers that have to be pulled out. Printing quality is excellent, clear and crisp. Printing 2-sided is easy, too. I am looking forward to many more years of use from this new model. It is light weight, has a small footprint, and ink is very reasonable. Just a great, dependable workhorse. Hope this new one works as well and lasts as long. Sorry, Epsom... not making lots of bucks from me. I will be recycling my old printer back to Epsom with their recycling program. Thanks for a great product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Maybe it will last Bought C88+ at Christmas 2017. It lasted 6 months. I 'll try this once more and if it gives me problems I will be buying a different brand. I've had Epson printers for over 20 years. There quality is not what use to be.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from T-Shirt Transfers Done Right I cannot emphasize enough how this workhorse of a printed has put more profits in my T-Shirt businesses. While I have tried the CISS bulk ink system, I still prefer the refillable cartridges on two machines, and the standard Epson ink cartridges on the third machine. Each performs well for all my T-Shirt transfers without complicated profiles I use to have to deal with for my dye sub Sawgrass Virtuoso SG400, and its very pricey inks $79.00+ each, that was limited to 100% polyester shirt applications. Using the DuraBrite pigment inks of the Epson line are way less costly, and I now print transfers for cotton tees, 50/50 tees and more making me more money with easier printing on JetPro Soft Stretch papers for inkjets. Need to print your own shirts for parties, events, clubs and more! Any of the Epson pigment printers will get the job done. As for me, I'll stick with the older C88+ as my main printer every time, as long as you stick with genuine EPSON Inks too! you'll be glad you did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DEPENDABLE WORK HORSE. SIMPLE TO USE I replaced my Epson Work Force WF2750 with an old, less complicated C88+ Printer. The WF 2750 was over complicated and lacked many needed features

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little printer Great little printer real workhorse. If you need waterproof printing this little durabrite printer is a good deal. Some of the "Workstations" also use durabrite but when you only need a printer this is the way to go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I ONLY BUY THIS PRINTER When I bought my first printer about ten years ago, I bought an Epson C88. Since the C88+ printer has replaced them, this has been the only printer I buy. It does what I need it to do and since I am familiar with the features, I never have to learn how to use another printer! I do NOT want to replace this with any other printer ever and, though they don't seem to last much longer than just a few months beyond the manufacturing warranty, at least I have some idea when I will need to replace it. I LOVE the fact that the ink cartridges are separate, so I need to only replace ink that I've run out of. I also rely on the fact that this printer gives me fair warning of when I am close to running out, so I can reorder before I have no more ink. I don't need fax or scanning features, so I like not having to deal with or buy all these extra bells and whistles that I don't need. I do some printing of photos, and so far this printer has been adequate for my personal needs. In short, I hope you never discontinue this product or fiddle around with it's features. There are times when it would be handy to have 2-sided printing capabilities, but I will gladly forego this type of feature for the benefits of using this printer. If Epson ever wants to "upgrade" the features of the C88+, I hope they will just make a new printer with the extra features WITHOUT discontinuing the C88+. I consider it a classic, like Classic Coke. Don't mess around with something that works so well at doing what it does! I very much appreciate the fact that, though it is time consuming to install any new printer, being able to work on an ongoing basis with the same printer model, year after year, helps me a great deal and reduces the guesswork, stress, time, and hassles involved in learning how to install and use a new product. And it doesn't take up a lot of space. Thanks to Epson for continuing to manufacture this wonderful printer!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointed I bought this in January. I have now replaced it because the print quality had gotten so bad. Repeated head cleanings did not work, and I finally gave up. I had the same problem with the last one I had, but at least it lasted almost three years. I don't know if this is a trend, but this is easily the worst one of these has performed for me. I have owned at least 15 of this model over the last 20 years, so I have the history to support my disappointment.

Notes:

Specifications Notes:
1 Pages per minute (PPM) speeds measured after first page, based on black text and color text patterns in Draft Mode on plain paper. Additional print time will vary based on system configuration, software application and page complexity. See www.epson.com/printspeed for more information about print speeds.

2 We recommend that you use genuine Epson ink cartridges. The use of other products may affect your print quality and could result in printer damage. Cartridge yields vary considerably based on images printed, print settings, paper type, frequency of use and temperature. For print quality, a small amount of ink remains in the cartridge after the "Replace cartridge" indicator comes on. The printer ships with full cartridges and part of the ink from the first cartridges is used for priming the printer. See www.epson.com/cartridgeinfo for more information about cartridges.
