Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Control Overall It pains me to write this review, it is only so critical because my problems with Epson projectors span 3 months, 2 different models and multiple replacements that all add up to me still not having a functioning projector that I paid a good deal of money for. First issue was with a different model, the 2150. The bulb burned out in 2 days on 3 different projectors. Easy enough, I was able to replace each of those by returning to exchange until after the third unit and finding out online it is a well known problem. As well known a problem as it is apparently, why on earth are you still selling the 2150. So, after three 2150 units, I figured I'd try the "Upgrade" path and settled on the 3700. My first unit started unexpectedly turning off, with the "Internal error" light diagnostic warning after 4 weeks. Since I was passed the return period in store, I had to rely on the Epson Warranty. Fair enough, I had 2 choices. Advanced shipping (pay up front for the replacement unit) and return the defective unit and get the funds released back to bank after they received it or send the defective unit in, wait for shipping and processing and get a replacement hen it's been processed. A proposal that would have left me without a projector for minimum 1 business week (so 2 weeks). I chose to do the advance shipping option for which my card was charged the full amount as opposed to a hold on the amount like was stated by their support csr. To make matters worse, they send a "refurbished" unit NOT a new unit. All "Guaranteed" to be in complete working order. This was not the case. The replacement they sent has a loose lens housing. I cant so much as focus using the ring without it actually moving the lens. Making this 2nd unit hardly quality controlled along with the others. If anybody had so much has tested this unit, the loose lens would have been immediately noticed this. The Zoom ring is so stiff there is no way to adjust it with applying actual pressure which doesn't help with the loose lens housing. It also appears that the lens has a significant scratch on one of the internal glass components. But to be clear, the lens housing being loose is a deal breaker either way. All of this from and advanced shipment that was "tested to ensure everything is in working order as well as 3 units of a different model being bad. Totaling 5 bad projectors in less than 7 weeks across 2 models. Needless to say this is not confidence boosting in either the product in general or the warranty. I will basically have to keep returning projectors until I get one that works since I can't return the unit to place of purchase and 5 units, two models in 7 weeks is way more trouble than the entry fee has been worth. I can not recommend, at least, the 2150 or 3700 and other than the image when it does work, a hard press to recommend Epson at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great brightness and contrast My room is a large space with 6 windows that have heavy drapes. The lighting during the day is somewhat dark and at night completely dark. The lumens and contrast work great in both conditions. This is my 3rd Epson projector in about 30 years and I have had nothing but great results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brilliant picture but lacks optical keystone adjustment I can echo everything said by others here - brilliant picture, exceptional brightness, good features. However, a great weakness was discovered in our use scenario - ceiling mount, off-center, display of computer screen instead of movies. Unfortunately, the projector lacks a true optical adjustment for H/V keystone, so instead it pinches resolution and then interpolates output when adjusting the picture to a rectangle. The results are horribly wavy/jagged horizontal and vertical lines, and miserably inconsistent rendering of displayed fonts. Will probably have to return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great powerhouse for bright rooms I selected this projector to replace an aging optoma model I had. I wanted to increase the screen size from 78 inches to over 100 inches, as well have it still be watchable in a bright room during the day light hours. the epson HC3700 does this in spades even in "ECO mode" extremely happy with the picture. any one looking to cover criteria like these will not be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture in 1080p! This is an upgrade from the 3500 model I had previously. Bright picture even in well lit room. Absolutely stunning at night! Best 120” tv you can have for the $$$.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best in class This projector is one of the best 1080p projectors out right now in 2017. Its bright and the colors are vivid. The projector operates very quietly in eco mode (hardly audible). The menu system is easy to navigate and well layed out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture - super bright Have only had the projector a month or so, but so far, really love it. Super bright. I have a combination sunroom/home theater which is kind of unusual. Still playing with the tweaking an picture control, but very impressed so far. For the price, I think it should come with a printed manual, or at least a way to mail for a no-charge one. Having everything on a DVD or download a pdf from the website is ok, but alot of enthusiasts want printed copies to refer to, highlight, etc.
