Epson iPrint App for Android Setup

Turn your tablet or smartphone into a powerful productivity tool. iPrint for Android enables you to access files from Box, DropBox, Google Drive, and Microsoft OneNote and print them from anywhere. You can also scan from a nearby Epson printer and email or share your files online.

Connecting to a Printer on Your Network

Before connecting to your Epson printer, make sure that both your Android device and printer are connected to the same wireless network.

  1. Open the Epson iPrint app.
     
  2. Tap Printer is not selected. Tap here to select a printer.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • Tap your printer on the Local tab.

    • Note: If you don't see your printer, make sure your Android device and printer are connected to the same wireless network and tap Search at the bottom of the screen to search again. If you still don’t see your printer, you can connect manually to the printer from the Manual IP tab or tap Wi-Fi Direct Setup.

    • To manually add a printer on your current network, tap the Manual IP tab.

      Tap Add, enter the IP address for the printer, and tap Done.

  4. You can now print with Epson iPrint.

Connecting to a Remote Printer

With Epson Email Print, you can print remotely from your Android device to your Epson printer.

Note: You need to be on the same network as your printer to assign an email address from the Epson iPrint app. Once you have assigned an email address to the printer, you can print remotely.

  1. Open the Epson iPrint app.
     
  2. Tap Printer is not selected. Tap here to select a printer.

  3. Tap Remote.

  4. Tap Add.

  5. Tap Yes.

  6. Do one of the following:
    • If you don't have an email address for your printer, tap Get Email Address and continue following the steps below.

    • If you already have an email address for your printer, tap the field on the screen, enter the email address, and tap Done. Your printer appears in the Remote tab and you can now print remotely.

  7. Tap your printer on the list.

    Note: If you don't see your printer, make sure your Android device and printer are connected to the same wireless network and tap Search at the bottom of the screen to search again.
     
  8. In the browser screen that appears, tap Advanced.

  9. Tap Proceed to [your printer's IP address].

  10. Tap Register to continue.

  11. Tap Accept and then tap Next.

  12. Tap OK.

    The Epson Connect website appears.
     
  13. Enter your email address and a password and then tap Finish.

    Your printer's email address appears.
     
  14. Copy the printer's email address and paste it into the Printer's Email Address field in the Epson iPrint app.

  15. Tap Done.

    You can now print remotely with Epson iPrint.

Connecting to a Printer via Wi-Fi Direct

  1. Open the Epson iPrint app.
     
  2. Tap Printer is not selected. Tap here to select a printer.

  3. Tap Wi-Fi Direct Setup.

  4. Do one of the following:
    • If your printer has an LCD screen, tap Printer with LCD Screen.

    • If it doesn't, tap Printer without LCD Screen.

  5. Follow the steps on your device's screen to connect to your printer directly.

You can now print directly to your product with Epson iPrint.
