If you received a Nuance software serial numbers sheet with your Epson product, you can now download Kofax Power PDF for Mac instead to ensure compatibility with macOS Big Sur. Follow the instructions below to install and register the software.
Click the button below to download the software, then install it.
Download When you see the Kofax Power PDF for Mac window, drag the Kofax Power PDF for Mac icon into the Applications folder alias.
Select Kofax Power PDF for Mac from the Applications folder.
When you see the license agreement window, click Agree.
When you see this window, enter your name, the serial number from your Nuance software serial numbers sheet, and your email address. Then click Register.
Note: You must include the hyphens when you enter the serial number.
When you see the Kofax license registration web page, enter your email address and reenter the Nuance software serial number. Then click Continue.
When you see this screen, enter your first and last name and reenter your email address. Then click Register to register your software.

You cannot scan wirelessly using Kofax Power PDF for Mac.
If you are using a wireless connection, you can scan using Epson ScanSmart and then import your scanned file into Kofax Power PDF for Mac for further processing as necessary.
