I'm getting a red vertical or horizontal line through my picture. What should I do?

  • This red line is caused by glare from an object in the picture. With regular film pictures, glare from chrome bumpers, hoods of cars, glass, etc., causes a white spot in the picture. However, with the PhotoPC Color Digital Camera, you will see a red line originating from the center of the glare. Avoid photographing shiny surfaces that reflect excessive amounts of light into the camera's lens. In bright light, you may need to use an ND-filter to avoid glare.
