Why doesn't my Live Preview mode work?
- Live Preview only works with computers that have video drivers capable of supporting 16-bit or 24-bit colors. If your laptop or PC's monitor only supports 256 colors, then the Live Preview window will be "blacked out." If you enter the Live Preview mode through the separate standalone "PhotoPC Settings" application, you must set your system color display to 16 or 24-bit color to allow the feature to work. However, users whose systems support only 256 colors can still use the Live Preview feature if they enter the Live Preview mode through the TWAIN driver. To enter through the TWAIN driver, you must launch the Easy Photo software, click on the camera icon, then select the PhotoPC. The TWAIN driver is then launched and thumbnails begin downloading. At the bottom of this screen is the "Camera Options" button/icon. When you click on this icon, you will then enter the "Controls" tab. Click on Live Preview and you should begin receiving live preview images within 8 to 10 seconds. Also, it is strongly recommended that you use an EPSON AC adapter while using the Live Preview feature. Live Preview quickly uses up a lot of battery power. If the batteries get too low, the Live Preview feature will not work.
