Why do my images have the wrong date and time on them?

  • The internal clock for the PhotoPC needs to be reset each time you replace the battery or plug in the AC adapter without first turning the camera off. There are two ways to reset the camera. In both cases, have the camera connected to the serial port on the computer. The first method is to launch the PhotoPC Settings to set the camera clock either manually or let the software automatically synchronize the internal camera clock to the computer's clock. The second method is to launch Easy Photo and then launch the TWAIN driver (for example, select the PhotoPC camera icon and select the PhotoPC driver). When you launch the PhotoPC TWAIN driver, the software will automatically synchronize the internal camera clock to the computer's clock. You can also manually set the camera's clock by going into "Camera Controls" and then the "Setup" folder. If the clock is not reset after batteries have been replaced, the software will provide a random date and time for the picture.
