Sometimes when I press the shutter release button nothing happens. Why doesn't it take the picture?

  • The PhotoPC was designed with an "Auto shut-off" feature to save battery power. If you wait more than 60 seconds before taking a picture, the camera automatically turns off. As a result, if your camera was "asleep," pressing the shutter release button will only "wake" the camera. You will need to press the shutter release button again to actually take a picture.
